I used these ideas when I toilet trained three of my children. I modified it a bit and only used the positive approaches he suggested. It worked perfectly for each of my children!! However, you can learn all you need to in the first chapter or two. That is all I really used.

While the title of this book is misleading, I would still recommend it as an effective method for potty training. It is really one day of establishing expectations and, in my son's case, a week + of reinforcement. AJ is now nearly accident free, including at night. But, we still prompt him to go, and he usually needs a little help. The diapers are gone!

So I'm in the process of trying to get my son to be potty trained. Nothing has worked so far. I've heard both good and bads things about this book. I'm hoping to get some good ideas from this book to try out w/ my son. I'm crossing my fingers..... I finally sat down and read this book today. This book has some great tips and I'm looking forward to seeing if they work.
